About:
Born in 1976 in Dronten, The Netherlands. Because of my Indonesian father I have a multicultural background. I have an interest in all aspects of visual communication. Next to my study at the art academy I worked in the advertising industry. Lately I have been working as a PowerPoint specialist and photographer.

Artist Statement:
I am an autonomous documentary photographer. My photography is about what you don't see, but feel. If you don't see the subject, the photo gets more interesting. The image appeals to the imagination. Imagination is an important theme in my work. The painter Kandinsky is my inspiration. A good photo has soul. Photographing is like ‘playing’ music. I am fond of poetic photography. The search for the image is more important then the final result.
